The Health and Hunger Task Force met in June to review progress on the Common Metrics Initiative, data-sharing efforts, Beacon platform development, and the Closed-Loop Referral Workgroup. Leaders discussed findings from the first annual Common Metrics System Survey, which provides an initial baseline for understanding systems change, cross-sector partnerships, and organizational data-sharing practices across the community.
The meeting also highlighted the next phase of Common Metrics, which focuses on understanding community needs, available resources, service gaps, and service demand. Partners received updates on Beacon, an organizational-facing platform designed to support collaborative data sharing and data-informed decision-making, as well as the Closed-Loop Referral Workgroup’s efforts to develop shared expectations and recommendations for stronger referral processes.
