Collective Impact Model
The Health and Hunger Task Force is a collective impact initiative working across sectors to create systems level change. As such, the coalition’s structure includes four key components: the backbone organization, the steering committee (coming soon), the general membership, and working group participants. Read below to better understand how each component works together to achieve impact.

Working Groups
Working Groups are smaller groups of Health and Hunger Task Force members working on specific goals aligned with the Task Force’s strategic priorities. The groups have specific outputs and are time limited. Working Groups change over time. Click “Learn More” below to see current working groups.

Steering Committee
The HHTF Steering Committee is a smaller group of HHTF members that support the strategic direction of HHTF. They meet quarterly year to: prioritize and organize the strategic direction for HHTF work, expand the reach and engagement of the HHTF in the community, advise on current events impacting the landscape of food insecurity as it relates to health.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is the founding organization and convener of the Health and Hunger Task Force. They serve as the backbone organization, guiding the vision and strategy for the group, supporting aligned activities, establishing shared measurement practices, cultivating community engagement and ownership, advancing policy and mobilizing resources.
